Alternative Deposit Methods if Your Credit Card is Not Accepted

If your credit card does not get accepted at any of the credit card poker sites above, you do have other options to consider.  I have ranked these credit card deposit alternatives according to ease of use and effectiveness for U.S. Holdem poker players.

1. eCheck – Instant and fee-free.  Otherwise known as an electronic check, eChecks are the simplest and most reliable form of payment.  There are no US poker sites accepting eChecks
2. Wire Transfer – Almost every online poker site accepts wire transfers.  It is a very simple process, but you are usually charged a fee of about $20-$30.

International Credit Card Deposits

For poker players outside the Unites States, you should have no problems or restrictions when trying to use your credit card to deposit money for online poker.  You should have no problem using your Visa, Maestro, or Mastercard for online poker deposits.  Just be glad you are not American.  Like you really needed another reason for that…
